Brilliant! I was a little unrealistic in expecting the car within 2wks, it took about 5wk (more than reasonable). Alex was great at helping pin down the right car for my needs based on cost, availability and facility. Switched from my XC90 (on the amazingly care free ‘Care by Volvo’ scheme) to a lovely kia EV9. The new car was delivered to the house in Scotland by a very polite and professional gentleman with just delivery miles. He had great communication with me in the days running up to delivery (call and a few texts) to ensure a time and place that suited me and my hectic schedule. This direct communication was particularly useful rather than having to communicate through an intermediary department email/call centre. I alway find it easier to speak directly to the person actually doing the job. There’s still a few manufacturer’s barcoded parts stickers on the inside. The bits to bare in mind (as different to supply from dealers): You are dealing with a supplier (broker) and a finance company so there is a little duplication in documents which takes a day or so. The Select Cars portal is fairly good at displaying the status and requirements. Car mats! You can normally obtain these in the deal through a dealer but this was an oversight on my part. However, I very grateful for Select Cars customer service department arranging even just basic car mats for me for writing this fabulous review and to protect the car 😉 (not the subtlest of hints). So in summary, great service, communication, supply. Does require a little proactive admin but you are saving hundreds over the 3yrs. … and you get car mats 🤞
